His deep voice rumbled as I listened to the recording on the message crystal and I shivered.
What kind of a bargain had I gotten myself into?
But it was it right, under such extreme matters, when you held your squadron's life in your hands? After all, they were my friends. My family. I would die for them. Selling my body wasn't such a big deal in such dire consequences.
… right?
There was a pause from the message crystal before the recording of Dark Ace's message continued. "Come to me wearing what's in the bag."
I eyed bag in my hand cautiously. Worried and scared about what humiliation I'd be put through at that vile man's hands.
"No," Dark Ace stopped and then resumed talking with a smirk in his voice. "Come in your uniform. I want to see you get changed into your... costume." He gave the co-ordinates to where I'd meet him, date and time and the crystal stopped playing.
I sunk to the ground, burying my head in my hands. Sobs shook my body as tears ran down in rivulets. Our luck had finally run out. Dark Ace had the Storm Hawks men prisoners, and for me to free them he had created this sick, twisted game.
I was a toy. A mouse.
And him. The Dark Ace was the cat.
