Ed Sheeran - All of the stars
It's just another night,
and I'm staring at the moon,
saw a shooting star and thought of you,
I sang a lullaby,
by the waterside and knew,
if you were here,
i'd sing to you,
You're on the other side,
as the skyline splits in two,
miles away from seeing you,
But I can see the stars,
from America,
I wonder,
do you see them too?
So open your eyes and see,
the way our horizions meet,
and all of the lights will leave,
into the night with me,
and I know these scars will bleed,
but both of our hearts believe,
All of these stars,
will guide us home
Clarke stroked Madi's hair as she started to drift off, and wrapped an arm securely around her. The wind blew around her and Madi causing her short hair to fly into her face. A faint glow that came from the fire lit up almost making the shadows around them disappear.
Madi's words still haunted Clarke "I'm sorry they left without you"
Clarke glanced at the dark sky that was illuminated by the stars.
They did what they had to do she told herself.
She thought back to the last time that her and Bellamy properly talked. The flashes of their hug ran through her mind.
Even though she missed him a lot, she was glad that he went without her. Only because she would of never met the girl that was lying in her arms at that moment. She changed her life for the better. Without her she wouldn't be alive.
The only thing she has left that reminds herself of Bellamy is that cursed radio that never works. Maybe he is thinking of her-
Clarke groaned feeling stupid. Here she is thinking of Bellamy when he probably doesn't feel the same way about her.
Stop Clarke! she told herself There is no way Bellamy Blake will be thinking of you!
--
Bellamy glanced down at the last patch of green on earth and wondered if by any chance Clarke was there looking back at him.
Don't be stupid he told himself.
Clarke died. She's gone. As much as he doesn't want to believe it...he lost her, and it was all his fault.
He never told her how he truly felt, he never told her the three words that he was dying to tell her for a long time.
He still has regret weighting down on him from the time he abandoned her, and that was years ago.
Despite him telling himself that she is dead, there is a small part of him that knows that she is alive. Despite Raven and Echo telling him so...he has a little bit of hope still left.
Although that hope was crushed, when he remembered that he had to tell Clarke's mother the truth, that was only if she too was alive.
Positive thinking Bellamy he told himself Octavia, Kane and Abby are safe.
Bellamy placed his hand on the glass that gave him the view of the Earth.
Please be alive Clarke
.
