The two Irken tallest looked at each other with great distress. The Resisty had finally gotten their long awaited first win against the Irken army. They had built a huge command ship that the Massive was no match for. They were lucky they accessed the hyper drive before they were blown into a million pieces. Now orbiting Irk, they awaited a repair ship to mend the broken Armada.

"It's my fault." Purple mumbled, looking away. "If I'd been paying attention we would have caught them before they started attacking. Instead I ihad/i to be engrossed in my snacks."

"It's not your fault." Red said in a stern voice. "If you hadn't suggested going into hyper space, we'd be nothing but dust!" Red walked up to his companion, battered and bruised from the battle. He put his hand on his cheek and pulled him close. "If it weren't for you, Operation Impending Doom II would be nothing but history. Because of you, our hope lives on." Red kissed Purple gently on the cheek, then walked away to wash the burns on his charred skin.

"Wait." Purple called after him. "Can I join you?"

Red gave an apologetic look. "I'm sorry Pur, but not tonight."

Purple walked up to him and kissed him gently on the lips. Red returned the action with more passion, but pulled away nearly a second later. "Like I said before, not tonight." Then he walked away to leave Purple trying to catch his breath and trying to make sense of the hell just happened.

. I tried not to make it too mature, since it's in the description.

lol Purple tried to persuade Red to change his mind, but he isn't as easily distracted as his simple minded companion.

Not bad for my first IZ fanfic, eh? I just realized I forgot to draw their PAKs. ^^; Oops. I'll fix it in the morning.
