Axel POV
"Thank Kingdom Hearts! It's open Zexi!" Axel shouted, relieved.
Zexion, Axel, Demyx, and all their friends decided to rent out the Radiant garden pool for a party. Axel didn't tell anyone, not even his boyfriend Zexion, why he decided to throw a party in the first place.
The truth was, today was June 8, his and Zexion's anniversary. And boy, did he have a heck of a present to give.
The boys and their friends left all their stuff on the side of the pool or farther away and jumped into it, cooling off.
Someone had brought their boom-box and was playing music loudly. Everyone was splashing each other, pushing others into the pool, and laughing.
After a while, Axel decided to give Zexion his anniversary present.
"Hey babe. C'mere a sec will ya?" Axel grabbed his blueheaded lover's hand and brought him over to the table he set his stuff down on.
All of Axel's closest friends, a.k.a. Demyx, Marluxia, Larxene, Xion, Roxas, Sora, Riku, and Saix, were waiting for them.
"What's going on Axe?" Zexion asked wonderingly. Axel smiled and said, "You'll see."
He let go of Zexion's hand for a second to rummage around in his bag for something small. When he found it, he held it in his hand out to Zexion.
"I've been thinking about this for a while, and I know it's something I really wanna do," Axel said as he got down on one knee.
"Zexion Ishida. I've been blessed seven years ago on this very day, because that's when I met you. And a year later, I made you mine. I know from the very moment I saw you that I was meant for you. I love you more than life itself, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So Zexion," Axel opened the small box to reveal a large heart-shaped diamond ring.
"Will you marry me?"
Axel then got very nervous because all Zexion did was stand there with his mouth open, all their friends holding their breath.
Tears started to well up in Zexion's blue eyes when he whispered, "Axel..."
The blunette threw his arms around Axel, now crying. "You idiot," Zexion said between tears, "Of course I'll marry you."
All of Axel's and Zexion's friends cheered when they kissed and slipped the ring on Zexion's finger.
"It's beautiful. I love it." Zexion said, admiring the diamond. "But I love you more," He added, kissing his redheaded fiancee under the summer sun.
