Heaven's Angel
Interlude:
Ancient World
And Something More
By: Angel
The Ancient World was a time when the human race no longer trusted one another and thus bringing total chaos upon itself. Killing thousands of humans within mere seconds. Destroying everything in which we, as humans, held dear. And yet as the smoke cleared and the dead bodies were pushed aside, as if they were nothing than mere rag dolls, legends came to life once more. Legends of men that were covered in fur and howled at the full moon. Legends of men that drank off the blood of others to feed their thirst. And lastly Legends of God's own heavenly made creatures. Legends that for centuries the human race that argued that was non existed.
And as the ancient world slipped away as dust in the wind, the survivors of the human race slowly came forth to see what the chaos had left behind. Some slowly went crazy others went in search of the new life that had been granted to them. And the Legends slowly, as was done before in a time that now was long forgotten, blended in with hand full of now hundreds of humans. For it was easy enough, for some humans it was easy not to believe. But it was written some from some one the 'new' world can't remember once said.
"You have to believe in something. if not you fall for anything!"
****
As the wind slowly picked up the dust and made cute little funnel clouds. As birds highly sang an old, and unknown song a odd creature could be see traveling at a pace no longer known to man. A creature that was longer than a man, and shaped completely different than ANY known man. For this creature walked on to four hands instead of two. It's hands always covered with some kind black, smelly covering. It's eyes seemed unreal, for they seemed to made of glass, whatever that was? It made a sound that was not known even to the eldest wise man. It's true name was now not known to anyone nor was it in any of the ancient world books. Not enough was known about this strange creature to assume any thing of it's inner works. So this creation went unstudied, but yet used. And in so it was rare to find one even more so one that was in working order. But yet there was some that marveled at the ancient's oddities.
Oddities of the ancient world seemed to call out to certain people, few but none the less. People such as Amy Jo Thompson, the current owner of the creature causing the man made sand storm. Amy Jo Thompson was nothing more than an young, innocent teenage girl. A girl who could not remember her parents, but remembered their passion for the unknown. Thus leading up to her love of odd, special things. Such as the creature she rode in. Some where she once had heard it called a car, but where the ancient world holding on it's secrets one could not be sure? Regardless of what it's name might have been Amy Jo Thompson had found a way to make work so now she would ride for as long as it took her. to where ever it took her.
