Another Sweeney Todd fic, but I added something special in there for you guys...it occured to me what would happen if Mr. Todd met a certain pirate...enjoy XD!
Disclaimer: I do not own Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, or Pirates of the Carribbean. Both movies belong to their respected owners, who are Stephen Sondheim, and Disney. Also, the quote that Jack uses (Well...Mr. Toad...) is property of the Hillywood Show, and I do not own it either.
Poor Ol' Jack!
…
…
"I hear you are the best barber in London." The pirate said while leaning against the wooden counter.
The barber took no heed that the pirate was watching him retrieve one of his beloved silver razors. Once he retrieved it from the case, he gave it a flick for the blade to pop out.
"Fancy them razors…" the pirate said, fascinated by the craftsmanship that went into the silver.
Sweeney Todd shut the box quickly and faced his customer. "What is your name, my dear sir? For I must know someone who is generous to say that I am the best barber in London."
His customer's face lit up. "My name is Jack—CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Surely you've heard of a pirate who's sailed the seas and battled the immortal Davy Jones and brought him to his grave with a single swipe?"
Mr. Todd's eyebrows curled into a questioning look. "With a single swipe? I heard stories that you sir—pardon me to be rude—was not the person who fully killed Davy Jones…I believe his name was William…Turner?"
Jack Sparrow's face dimmed. "Bugger…" he muttered under his breath.
Mr. Todd's face went back to a more brooding expression. "Well…enough of talk…what would you like for me to do for you today Mr. Sparrow—?"
"CAPTAIN." Jack corrected instantaneously.
"My apologies…CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow." Mr. Todd replied.
Jack smiled and nodded. Before Mr. Todd could get him in the chair, he wondered off into a far edge of the room.
"Well, Mr. Toad…I won't need any barbering—I came here to propose a trade."
Sweeney Todd sighed softly. He just wanted to kill the man, and get back to focusing on killing the Judge afterwards, if he came by.
"How about I give you my revolver for one of your lovely razors or a couple bottles of gin? What say you to that?"
Sweeney Todd shook his head and said his answer in a monotonous tone. "No…unless you can convince Ms. Lovett into a proper bargain about the gin, I'm not interested—furthermore…your revolver is useless. Its final shot has been deducted on the count of Captain Barbossa, in which you have made a comrade of."
Jack's face scrunched up. "Bugger!" he said louder than the last.
Then the captain's face lit up again. "Oh yes, that was me old revolver." He pulled out another old-fashioned gun.
"Yet, this one was given to me by dear William Turner."
Mr. Todd clutched his razor close to his side.
Jack fired, but the powder only gave a squeaking sound. A small wisp of smoke appeared.
Sweeney Todd's face was inhabited with a sickening smile. "Got it wet, didn't you Captain Jack?"
Jack gave a nervous laugh.
…
"When do you think Jack'll get back?" Elizabeth Swann asked her friend William Turner, who was standing against the Black Pearl, same as her.
"I don't know…it's only been an hour—said he was getting supplies for the crew…"
The two's questions were answered by seeing Jack running on the beach towards them, a man hot on his heels behind him.
"WILLIAM! ELIZABETH! HELP ME!" The Captain screamed girlishly.
The two pirates looked at each other for a moment, and then snapped into action.
"Time to go…!" William said as he scrambled onto the deck.
