How long have I been lock up here, I know not. I lost count about a hundred year ago. The bones of the sages, my friends, lay before me. Their flesh long rotted away leaving them faceless. How am I, Link the Hero of Time, alive after all this time? My body is the same as it was at the beginning of my imprisonment. Did Ganon bewitch me so that my loved ones would die in front of me and I could not do a thing? My eyes turned to the remains of the once amazing Zora princess Ruto. I remember the day she gave me the water stone and told me I'll have to marry her to keep it. I can still remember the look in her eyes when she first saw me: a mixture between anger and surprise. Then after I rescued her a look of love and admiration replaced it. Even after years of not seeing each other for years the same look was there, although it had a tent of anger for being gone for so long. I quickly turn my head away from her when tears threaten to spill over. As long as I have spent in here and still I cry.
BAMB!
What was that? It sounded like a door slamming open. I pull all the engery my body could muster and began to rise. My bones popped and cracked from lack of use over the years and the chains that held me had long broken, allowing me to walk around my tiny room of hell. I once tried the door, but Ganon had sealed it with magic and now only someone from the outside could open it. I had to shield my eyes when I reach the window, as the sun is bright today in the cursed place. We didn't even know where we were being taken. When I was able to see, I saw a green figure running toward the tower. Then I saw what was on his back.
"It can't be!" I whispered. What I saw was a boy of 10 or 11 years old dressed in green with a sword. Wait a min...HOLY DIN! It's the Master Sword! But how? Did the temple survive though the Great Flood? What about Zelda? What else survived?
"Hey! Boy over here!" I yelled.
"Wwwhat was that?" cried the boy.
"It is I, Link of the kokiri. Ganon imprisoned me into this tower. About 20 feet in front of you." I yelled back to him happy. Finally I was going to leave.
"What tower?" He said in a much braver voice. What! He can't see!
"Can't you see me!"? I exclaimed disbelieving
"No I can't." With that he ran back the way he came.
"No wait stop. Come back!" He didn't stop. I fell to the ground. Almost. I was almost free.
"DAMMIT!" I cursed. How I wish to leave this horrible place. My eyes are heavy with sleep. I have not slept as of late. My dreams are visited by two figures. I have not been able to see their faces yet but I know that one of them is a man and the other is a woman. For some strange reason I feel as if I know this man. Like he was my son or something and they were waiting for me to come and get them. One problem. I don't know who they are or if they really exist.
Might as well get some sleep now that kid is gone. Maybe he went back for help. Yes that has to be reason he left. With happy thought in his head, Link feel asleep not seeing the door open and a boy in green come in with a girl right behind him.
