chapter one:
Naruto's POV:
"... and so that is the end of class for today." Iruka-sensei spoke.
No one was listening to him, At least I knew I wasn't, everyone was already getting ready to leave.
"Lastly you Will have a test in two weeks based on this jutsu. If anyone fails the whole class will get a punishment so practice well." he continued.
He was answered by a few groans but otherwise he was almost unheard.
Why another test. Is it their job to torture students or teach them?
"Yo Naruto don't fail. It will be more work for us." Shikamaru calls out while leaving class.
eh that lazy fool thinks he is so smart when all he does is sleep. He is slightly taller than me and his black spiky hair was tied up in a pony. He wore a grey jacket and a mesh like shirt under it.
"Your one to talk Shikamaru. Your results are as bad as Naruto's." Sakura replied walking up to us with Ino and Hinata.
I could not hide my smile, the beautiful Sakura was walking with me. This will be a brilliant day for me.
"Hey Sakura you liked the class today?" I ask grinning wildly.
"Shut up Naruto. I hate over working because of you idiots." Sakura continues in fumes.
"H-h-hi N-n-n-nar-rut-to" Hinata whispers While hiding behind Ino.
"Why are you hiding from these idiots Hinata?" Ino asks rudely.
Sakura's the smartest is class. I have never seen anyone with better brains than her. She is pretty with long pink hair and a wonderful smile. Ino Was her rival, still is probably. Ino has long blonde hair and thinks that no other girl is better than her. Hinata on the other hand is a quite and shy girl who barely ever looks me in the eye.
"Naruto where are you going now? Home or your dad's office?" Shikamaru asks stopping at the gate, his best friend Choji was waiting.
"Going to my dad's office. I'm hungry and mom refuses to make me ramen anymore."
"Why?"
"It's a long story and my mom can be very scary." I answer with a shiver.
"How does the genius hokage have an idiotic son like you?" Ino wonders loudly pis sing me off a little.
"don't you women have anything else to do?" Shikamaru asks clearly getting annoyed as well.
"That is why this school sucks. There are no good guys here. They are all boring or idiots and definitely not good looking." she continues completely ignoring Shikamaru.
He just glares at her and looks away, that's when we all noticed two people, that we had never seen before, walking by our academy and it was a pride of mine that I knew everyone who lived in this village.
"who are they? they are so hot!" Ino almost yells pushing me aside to get a better look at them.
Sakura also seems very interested in them. Actually all the girls who were walking by had stopped and were gaping at the two. I turned to see what was so incredibly special about them that they had all the girls attention.
They were a man, maybe around 20, and a boy, probably the same age as me. They looked similar, with black eyes and black hair. They were fair and didn't look half bad but they had an arrogant look on their faces it kinda pissed me off. They both wore white travelling cloaks over their clothes.
"The man seems a little too old for me but the other one is perfect for me." Ino spoke before anyone else could.
"You? don't jump to conclusions. He will not look at you once he sees me." Sakura replied.
NO! what is Sakura saying. How could he grab Sakura's attention and not me? This was not fair.
"What are both of you saying? He will definitely fall for me!" Yukio another girl from my class stated.
Now I was getting pissed off again.
"You girls don't even know him. How are you so interested in him?" Choji asks.
"He looks so hot!" most of the girls exclaim together.
"They might be Uchiha's." I grumble.
For a minute no one spoke, they all just stared at me shocked. Finally Sakura spoke up.
"That's not possible. They are travellers. To enter our village you need identification, if they were Uchiha's they would have been killed on sight."
Everyone nodded for this explanation.
"What if they snuck in?" Shikamaru asks.
Again another second of dead silence.
"My dad told me that since the last Uchiha attack the walls of the village are being guarded extremely well. They cannot sneak in without raising an alarm. And plus they are super hot there is no way that they are Uchiha's " Ino explained.
"They are hot so they're not Uchiha's. That is logic unheard off." Shikamaru murmurs.
"They are not hot." I whisper glaring at the diminishing figures.
"Hey Naruto I will drop you to The hokages office." Sakura exclaims dragging me away.
I could feel me cheeks heating up. Sakura wanted to spend time with me. My joy could not be expressed.
"I'm coming too!" Ino exclaims running after us.
"Why do you want to come to? Your interrupting our date." I tell her.
"This is not a date!"
"Those two are heading to the Hokage's office." Ino and Sakura reply at the same time.
Those two? I look in front and I see the two travellers walking.
"Sakura you came with me so you could follow them?" I ask dejected.
That could not be true. Sakura must have come for me.
"Wow you really are an idiot. you didn't realise?"
My heart was crushed. I hated those two, whoever they were. This should not happen.
"I know a short cut. We can reach the Hokages office before them" I tell them. This was a complete lie.
"Really! let's go!" the two exclaimed.
I took them on another route and managed to make sure they would get confused. I subtly managed to run away from them but they managed to spot me. I ran fast and lost them soon enough. I rerouted and made my way back to my dad's office in depression. Sakura thought some random stranger was the man for her.
I entered the Hokages building and walked over to my dad's office waving hi to those who greeted me. I was so depressed I didn't see any one in front of me until I walked into him.
"Sorry." I whisper still dejected.
"Watch were your going." An arrogant voice replies.
I look up and see the two strangers, the boy my age was glaring at me before he looked away. They walk into my dad's office and close the door behind them.
My previous anger returned, now worse than before. It wouldn't hurt to eavesdrop, I mean someone so young will not have such important business with my dad. With that in mind I sneaked up to the door and placed my ear on it.
"What are you two doing here? How did you get in?" My dad asks, I could hear the shock in his voice.
"We need to talk. It's important." a deep voice states.
Must be the older boy, he voice is as obnoxious as the younger ones.
"Alright." my dad replies at a more normal tone.
"Minato." both the voices greet him.
"Itachi Uchiha. Sasuke Uchiha." My dad returns the greeting in a hard voice.
They were Uchiha's!
