I Too, Want To Believe

This is a poem that focuses less on the actual movie and is to provoke thought on more abstract things like the supernatural. The poem itself is very abstract and I'm sure it will leave you thinking.

I Too, Want To Believe

There are things in this world we won't quite understand,

no matter how much we think we can withstand.

The truth is out there but it's hidden in lies. Lies that are not meant to teach us,

but help us get to sleep at night.

When you look up at the night sky tell me what you see?

Darkness filled with dots of light? Or possibilities?

The news will only tell us what we want to hear,

but journey a little further in our world filled with fear.

To find what was lost, we must cross lines not meant to cross.

And then maybe we'll find, what was left behind.

Because I too, Want To Believe.
