One shot. Present time Lincoln/Sofia with mentions of Veronica (and LJ), set in Panama. If you like it please comment :) my first fic, sorry if there's something off, I wrote it quickly.

Lincoln and Sofia returned to that beach in Panama they had visited six years ago, although it wasn't as hot and sunny as that day it was great, their lives have completely changed ever since, no more running and hiding, they had a normal life together, a good life.

"If years ago you had told me we would be here today, I would've said that was impossible"

"We got lucky."

"I got lucky."

He kissed her head and she held onto his back for a moment.

"I think we should be chosing a name for her now we know she's a girl." Sofia said as she stared at the beautiful water ahead of them.
He nodded "I have one in mind, but I don't know if you'll like it."
"Well I can't tell if you don't tell me."
"Veronica." Lincoln said after a moment of hesitation.
"I like it."

"Really?" he was skeptical of her response and slightly worried. She could tell without even looking at him, she knew him good enough.

It wasn't easy for him, but after a while being together he had told her everything about his past, including his great first love, Veronica Donovan.

"I understand what she meant to you. Even if I never met her. LJ talked to me about her a couple of times too, I can tell she was a great woman. And I know LJ will like the name too."
"He will. You know, she died because she tried to help me... Giving my first daughter her name is the best way to honor her memory."
She nodded with a smirk caressing her growing belly "Veronica Burrows, it sounds good, doesn't it?"
He smiled relieved she really liked it "It does, but Veronica Burrows Lugo sounds better."

"Yes. It makes me nervous, thinking about giving birth, and being a mother. I hope to be a good one, and I hope I don't get fat." "You will be a good mother, and you won't get fat." "I'm already getting bigger."

He laughed "You look the same, Sofia. And even if you did I would still love you and you would still be beautiful."
Even after all this time he still felt bad about what his son had to go through years ago. "I hope to be a better father for Veronica than I was to LJ." "You are a good father for LJ, and you'll do great with our baby girl."

They shared a warm kiss and went back to their yatch holding hands.
