For the Seasons Inspired Challenge – Summer – Going to the beach in summer
Note: FLEUR AND BILL ARE THE BEST, SPREAD THIS AROUND
Even thought Molly had immediately opposed to the idea, both Bill and Fleur had decided to move in together a month before their wedding. Aunt Rachel had given them her old cottage as an early wedding present, for which they both had been very grateful.
Fleur had fallen in love with the cottage in mere seconds. It was old, sure, but it was just perfect for her. It was warm and homey, and on top of that, it had a beach, and summer was rolling around.
The first time Fleur had suggested a trip to the beach, Bill had denied. He wasn't really in the mood for that, and on top of that, his mum was driving him crazy with the wedding.
The second time Fleur suggested it, Bill gave in. He really just wanted to relax, and what a better way to do that but when the sun is shining and the waves are rolling around?
It was a Thursday when they decided to go out. The sun was shining brighter than ever, showing that summer was at its peek. Walking towards the sand, Fleur felt a rush of adrenaline and started running towards it, gripping the basket she had taken.
"Fleur! What are you doing?" called Bill from behind her, his eyes twinkling with confusion.
Fleur laughed. "Oh, come on, mon chérie, it's the beach! Let's go have some fun!" she said in her French accent.
Bill shrugged and internally thought, 'eh, what's the worst that could happen?' as he ran towards his fiancé, who had left the basket lying on the floor and was currently splashing the salty water of the ocean.
The ginger splashed around in the water, accidently showering Fleur with the water. The girl turned around, glaring at Bill, who immediately knew he was in trouble.
"Oh, no you didn't," she said with a dangerous tone.
Bill nodded absentmindedly. "Sorry," he apologized, but his eyes betrayed the laughter bubbling inside of him.
Fleur grinned as she approached Bill, a seductive smile playing across her lips. "It wouldn't be a surprise if you were, to say–" she said, as she looked at him, "splashed?"
And with that, she launched herself on Bill, pulling them both into the cold water. Fleur came out openly laughing at her boyfriend's face.
"Hey!" whined Bill, "why did you do that?"
Fleur shrugged, "No reason, really. I just saw you stressed, and I thought you needed something to chill,"
Bill turned to her with a devilish look. "Darling, I have better things I can do to help me, as you put it, chill," he said as he kissed her passionately, both smiling and laughing at their antiques.
