Summary: what everyone really thinks about Ichigo's supposedly schoolboy infatuation towards Rukia. Written for the week's deathberryprompts - Infatuation. Rated T for language. Post FB arc.

What he's feeling is nothing more than merely a schoolboy's infatuation, everyone thinks.

Rukia acknowledges this.

Ichigo sees me as the one who gave him powers.

And he's new to his strengths again after such long absence and it's only logical that he sees everything in a new light now, including me. But it's a temporary thing, and once he gets used to it, surely things would return to the way they were.

Ishida knows better than this.

Because there's the there's now way I'm buying Rukia that shit ever again. She has a taste of a fucking 5 year old which is usually followed by the this one's an exception. It's a limited edition. Rukia will bite my head off if I don't get it and he just wishes Ichigo would stop making excuses and grow up the hell up.

So he says oh? Like all the last 5 Chappy plushies you bought? Are they all limited editions as well? in which he gets a shut up Ishida as a reply and he knows he's won.

Tatsuki wishes it's nothing more than this.

She reminds herself that she's simply teasing an old friend when she says you're spoiling her too much.

And it could've been just that. But then a she left for 17 months. She has every right to do whatever the hell she wants and a I'm taking her to go ice skating and that's that are said and it makes her wonder if her intentions were truly as innocent as they seem.

Because maybe it's her playing for the other team that made her say you're spoiling her too much.

Yuzu is ecstatic about this.

Even if it'll only ever be a cute little crush on his behalf.

You're taking Rukia-nee to see the Chappy show! Does this mean you two are going on a date?

No adult in their right mind would consider seeing a Chappy show as a date Yuzu. I just feel like doing nice things once in a while and for extra measures he adds, that show's stupid. Rukia only likes it because the place is going to be filled with a bunch of 5 year old and she'll be the tallest one there.

Karin on the other hand, calls the bullshit on this.

If anything, her idiot of a brother is head over his heels for Rukia.

Give it to Yuzu then, if you're so miserable. She can take Rukia-nee.

No. I bought the tickets. I'm going to see it.

Rukia desperately wants to acknowledge this.

But then there's the fleeting glances and stares that last a few seconds too long. The way his fingers now linger at the tips of her hair. Or how they always seem to be standing too close to each other, so close that she can see the golden flecks clearly in his eyes.

Hands brushing and knees touching, but no one minds and makes an attempt move away. He looks at her like that and it's enough to make her go flustered and she can't help but to think that whatever it is it's returned from her side and whether he ever notices it or if he's even aware of its existence and, and…

Idiot, what are you staring at?

What he's feeling is nothing more than merely a school boy's infatuation, everyone used to think.
