John and Karkat had now been together for as long as he could remember. John was now sixteen and making his way home from school. He was running, he had gotten text from Karkat in the middle of his last hour.
JOHN? ARE YOU GOING TO BE HOME SOON?
Babe, you know I don't get out of school for half an hour.
WELL PLEASE GET HERE AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

John went to open the door once he reached the house but the door knob moved from his grasp, Karkat on the other side. Normally he was in the couch once John got home
"Hey babe I am-"
Karkat had cut him off, pulling him close into a hug, hiding his face in Johns chest. John had grown quite a bit but Karkat, not so much. He was still about two heads shorter then the much taller male. Karkats hair was a mess, like he had been running his fingers through it a lot, not a good sign. John wrapped his arms around Karkat, kissing his head.
"Hey, are you alright?" John whispered, rubbing his back softly. The small troll started to shake. John got very worried, Karkat had been acting weird for a while, like he was hiding something. John stepped inside, closing the door as he picked him up, carrying him to their room.
"John I'm so fucking sorry…" The nubby horned troll whispered, clinging to human's shirt as John sat on the bed, rocking Karkat in his arms.
"What are you sorry for?"
"I didn't know this could even happen… I just… fuck John I'm sorry!"
"Karkat, calm down and tell me." John kissed his head.
"W-well… I have been feeling weird lately… and did some stuff... and… John… I'm pregnant."
