-His Uncle's Eyes-
-A 'Harry Potter' drabble-

St. Mungo's was rather busy as the Ravenclaw stepped inside the waiting room of the delivery wing, looking around for a shock of red hair that would be visible even if you were blind, she supposed. Huffing, Tora sat down on one of the plastic chairs in the waiting room and pulled a book from her purse, opening it to the page she was up to and immersing herself in the storyline. He did say to be here by eleven, and it was ten past now; she couldn't escape from her office without her two co-workers questioning her at every step she took.
Thundering footsteps made everyone look up, and George Weasley entered. "There you are!" he boomed, racing to Tora's side and hoisting her to her feet, "You're late!"
"When you have Blaise and Adrian asking you fifty million questions, is it a wonder I'm here at all?" she replied, raising a pierced eyebrow, "So what's up?"
"I want you to meet them." Taking her hand, the new father led his friend through the wing toward the baby room, where several cots had been set up, each one filled with a newborn child. Tiny pulls on Tora's heartstrings were ignored as George eagerly pointed to two of the children inside.
"There they are, little Fred and Roxanne." he said in awe, looking at his twin children with such love. Tora peered through the glass as well, unable to hide the smile on her face at seeing the two beautiful babies open their eyes and look at their father. Little Fred gave a small grin and lifted one tiny fist into the air, gurgling.
"Well, there you go..." the Ravenclaw breathed.
"What?" George asked.
"He has his uncle's eyes." she smiled, pointing. The redhead looked, and nearly burst into tears at his son's eyes – bright blue just like his namesake's.
"Well, there you go..." he said, "But Tora, there's something else as well. You see, Angie and I had a talk about this and even she agrees that...well, would you like to be godmother?" The pulls from earlier came again stronger as Tora looked into George's eyes, tears threatening to spill from hers.
"George, I would love to." she said. As the two adults hugged, little Fred and Roxanne watched on gurgling, one with sparkling brown eyes and the other with his uncle's eyes.
