- From Monica and Chandlers Point of view-
The gang had decided to reunite after many years apart. What better place to do that than by going to Disney World? It was the perfect scenario; they all had kids now and needed a vacation that would be fun for the kids as well as the adults…
"I can't believe we are finally going to Disney World!" Jack and Erica (Monica and Chandler's twins) yell as the run through the house. Monica and Chandler were packing up the car with nervous looks on their faces, it's the first time they have seen the gang in eight years. Ross and Rachel moved with Emma to Paris so that Rachel could work the job of her dreams. Phoebe and Mike lived down in Florida where they both were pursuing careers in the music industry, Phoebe as a producer and writer, Mike as a musician. They had three children now, two girls and a boy. Then, there was Joey. Joey moved out to California about a year after everyone split. He tried to make a life living in the apartment over Monica and Chandlers garage, but he had grown tired of being known as the moocher of the group.
The six friends had lost touch over the years with the kids and life taking over. Monica had only seen her brother once since he left, she was very excited to see her family and yet so nervous at the same time. Monica thought would they still be the same people, would Joey still love sandwich… "Oh my god" Monica mumbles to which Chandler responds "What is it?" "I didn't make any of Joey's favorite snacks, we can't go yet!" Monica Exclaimed as she ran inside. Chandler knew cooking was a stress reliever for Monica so he let her do what she wanted. After about an hour had passed, he finally had to convince her enough was enough and that they needed to leave… "Mon, honey?" he said in a questioning yet comforting voice "are you ready? We really need to hit the road or we will never make it, and my magic carpet is in the shop." Monica laughed and responded with a confident "YES", she finally didn't feel worried about seeing her friends any more.
(This would be where the TV magic comes in and they are all now at the hotel, getting ready to reunite for the first time in years)
As Monica and Chandler walk into the hotel lobby they hear squeals of joy, the twins had spotted their cousin Emma and had run over to her "Emma Emma EMMMMAAA" they shouted while running. Ross and Rachel look over joyed to see their niece and nephew and hug each one as though they planned to never let go. They then turned that same love onto their friends who they have not seen in years except for the weekly Skype dates they had. "Mon!" Rachel squealed as she embraced her best friend, " I'm so happy to see you! I miss my best friend." Monica with tears in her eyes just embraces her friend. It had been really hard for the gang to adjust to not seeing each other any more but it was particularly hard for Monica, she needed her friends close and hated that they could only see each other through Skype.
Just as Monica started to speak a tap on the shoulder interrupted her. It was Phoebe and Mike, followed closely behind by their three little ones and Joey! They were all finally here; they were finally all together again. It was like they had never even left each other's sides. They started joking and laughing just like old times, and now they got to share the joy they felt as friends with all the kids. A dream come true for the gang.
