Klaus was just drinking at the bar, trying to forget all of his problems, when he heard the back door slam loudly. Everybody went quiet. He turned around to see what caught everyone's attention, and his heart missed a beat.
Storming into the bar, head held high, in all her breathtaking glory, was his beautiful Caroline, her eyes fixed on him with determination he's never seen before.
Everyone was staring at her but she didn't give a damn. The only thing that mattered was the man sitting there, with his eyes bulging out and his mouth hanging open.
The man who captivated her mind, heart, body and soul. The man she was in love with.
And then she slapped him. Hard.
The other costumers gasped, they were sure the hybrid is going to kill the poor, stupid girl.
That snapped him out of his shocked daze.
"What was that for?" he asked.
"Hayley." She answered coldly.
'Oh, shit', he thought. How did she know? How angry was she? Who told her? Why did she even care? What is the meaning of this?
He lost the ability to form any coherent thought and questions when she smashed her sweet lips against his in a passionate kiss.
"And what was that for?" he asked again, as soon as he was able to talk.
The people at the bar were in complete silence.
Caroline smiled mischievously at him. "Making my decision." She said before pulling him into another kiss.
