The second James and Lily found out they were having a baby James called his friends saying he had "something important to tell them. "An hour later Remus, Sirius, and Peter walked in the door. "Man, this better be good, I was taking a nap!" Sirius grumbled. "Ok, shut up and listen." James said with a grin. "Well…you know how Lily was feeling ill?" His three friends nodded. "Well…um…we went to the doctor today and….Lily is pregnant." The eyes of the 3 guys standing in front of him smiled and whooped. "We've, Lily and I, have decided we want Sirius to be the Godfather." He looked at Remus and Peter nervously. "Are you two ok with that?" "Of course we are! Why wouldn't we be?" Remus said with a smile. Peter looked less enthusiastic, but nodded his head. "Brilliant!" James said. "Well, what do you think mates? This calls for some Butter beer! Padfoot, help me will you?" James and Sirius then walked into the kitchen to get refreshments. Peter looked at Remus and said "Are you really ok with it? I mean, Sirius being the Godfather?" Remus looked confused. "Yeah aren't you?" "Uh yeah, of course," he looked down, "Never mind." For Remus that was a day of celebration and fun with his best friends. For Peter that day was the beginning of the end.
