A/N – Shaylor! Whoo! Enjoy my little one-shot!

Rated for Sharpay's dirty mouth.

"God, Taylor, I'm sorry. Can't you understand – I'm human, not perfect! I screw up! I screwed up, and I'm sorry, and I don't see why it's such a huge deal," Sharpay Evans screamed as soon as she unlocked the door to her house, which was thankfully empty but for her very angry girlfriend.

"Oh, Shar, you made a mistake," Taylor said sarcastically, "That's for sure. A mistake. Ha. That's what it was yesterday, when you denied it. Or the day before, when you claimed we were 'just friends'. Dammit, Sharpay, I thought we were MORE than just friends. Girlfriends, you said. Love forever, you said. You'll admit it, you said. Hmm… that was, what, two weeks ago, and now you're just hiding behind me and denying it. Pathetically, pretending it never happened, pretending WE never happened. I can't handle this!"

"You think it's fucking easy for me? It's not! After all the crap that happened when Ryan came out? I don't want us to end up like he and whatever-the-hell-his-name-was! Broken up, and Ryan beaten up. It's not freakin' worth it."

"So, by saying 'it's' not worth it, you're saying I'M not worth it, and I don't even think we're worth it anymore."

"I'm not saying you're not worth it, I'm saying that this… this… this… SHIT isn't worth it! This whole 'labels' thing. I hate labels! I hate the questions – why can't the just accept it!"

"Sharpay, calm down!" Taylor said concernedly.

Sharpay was standing there, screaming. Her eyes were popping and vibrant, you could so tell that she was about to explode, and sadly, this happened a lot. Like, a lot more than normal people.

"I'm not going to calm down, Miss High-and-Mighty. You always pull this condescending crap on me."

Taylor had been trying to control herself, but the tone that Sharpay used brought out her inner evil.

"Oooh, condescending, that's a big word for you, Sharpay," she said bitterly.

"Wow, miss '4.0, perfect scores on all your tests, teacher's pet', I can't believe you'd pull that on me. You're being such a… such a… such a… YOU'RE BEING A BENNY!"

Taylor had to admit, that threw her for a loop.

"A Benny, what are you doing, calling me a guy?" she said, nonplussed. "Was that your best insult?"

"Now, I was calling you Benny, AKA Benjamin Coffin the Third," she said, staring at Taylor.

Taylor stared right back, still confused.

"From RENT? The revolutionary rock opera? By Jonathan Larson? Oh my gosh, you honestly don't know what RENT is? You poor, poor girl."

Sharpay grabbed Taylor's hand and led her over to her bed. Taylor didn't understand the polar opposite emotions. Wasn't she just angry at her a minute ago.

Sharpay grabbed a DVD from her shelf and tossed Taylor the box.

"This will change your life, girlfriend," she said as she popped the DVD in the player.

Two and a half hours later Sharpay and Taylor were cuddled on Sharpay's bed, Taylor talking non-stop.

"Sharpay, that was amazing! Can I borrow it! I have to watch it again! Please… please…! Honeybear! That's what I'll call you now – Honeybear!"

"Sure, Pookie. You can borrow it."

"Thanks. Honeybear…"

"Yeah, Pookie?"

"You hurt my feelings."

"How, Pookie?" she asked concernedly.

"You called me Benny! That's the worst insult ever!"

THE NEXT DAY

Gabriella walked up to Sharpay and Taylor with a smirk on her face and opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted.

"Don't speak, Benny. Silence is golden."

A/N Hehehehe. I wanted to write a RENT/HSM story for the longest time and this popped into my head.

Anyone who's never seen RENT before should. You'll enjoy it.

I'm working on "Drama Crush" a little bit more before I post the next chapter!
