Revenge

Rushing down the hall with Janes hand in his, he bursts in to Odins bedroom just quick enough to hear his last few words of wisdom." You two will lead Asgard into... gr-greatness". Odin chokes. Jane looks at Thor and watches a tear slowly slide from his eye and land on Odins chest. Maybe it will be like in all the movies from earth where if a tear drops on the person dying they come back to life, but sadly that didn't happen. " NOOO!" Thor screams. Jane tries to comfort him and rests her hand on his back, slowly rubbing it side to side but Thor doesn't care and whacks her hand away thoughtlessly. He quickly turns around to apologise but Jane had already ran out the door. Racing through mobs of people outside of the kings bedroom she runs down every corridor she can find until she can no longer breathe.

Where am I Jane thinks to herself, Thor never showed me this side of the castle. Before her stands huge double doors with little tiny decals made of the shiniest gold she has ever seen and the handles were made of silver in the shape of antlers, it was truly beautiful. Realizing that Thor hadn't showed her this for a reason, she decided she would sneak a peek, no harm done right?

She opened the door and it was a very large hallway with a big blue cube at the end. recognizing it from books she realized it was the tesseract, a powerful and yet tiny little cube of energy that used to belong to the frost giants. Behind it was a cage and beyond that was the biggest machine she had ever seen. It was guarding the Tesseract.

Jane turned around to leave when she heard this small crackling noise coming from below her feet, she turned and looked down and saw that the water infront of each column was freezing! "Frost giants" Jane and Thor said at the same time. Jane broke in to a run until a frost giant probably the size of two men jumped out and blocked her escape, then another behind her, then two more on each side. They had blue skin with the occasional light blue scratch and probably the most disgusting, they were wearing rags to cover themselves and they smelled like they hadn't had a shower in centuries. As they started to speak in their native tongue, they all shook their heads and had clearly made some decision that Jane probably wouldn't like. They had all started to slowly to walk towards her, and all at once they all drew forth ice and froze Jane right where she stands. Loki soon appeared outside of another column and said " take her, we will torture her until she begs me for death, and when she does... we will give it to her". The frost giants picked up the tesseract and ice cube jane and left before Thor even arrived. And just like that, Jane was gone and they didn't leave a trace behind.
