I'm Gary John Almond and I live in Japan with my mum Mikoto and my dad Bob. I have bright blond hare on my head and my eyes are really red like blood that's been left for a few days and drawn blood rust. I'm whereing a big black trenchcoat and some trippy jeans. I'm good at at ports and reading and writing and splelling, and I'm also good at mats. People say I'm very handsome but I'm not and I don't get where they're cumming from.

"Son, you have a call," Mikoto says to me.

"Really?! From who?!" I excite.

"It's from a famous detector! He wants you in a case!" she roars.

I stole away the phone. "Hello this is Gary who are you"

The phone said, "I am L."

"So have many people," L declares. "Gary I want you in my Kira case"

"It's an honour!" I cry, dancing around on the table. "When?"
