"To the left," Artemis groans, "No, the left."
"Would you quit it? I know what I'm doing." Wally replies back.
"You're never going to get it in."
"Hmm…" he hums concentrating on his target.
"Wally!" She exclaims.
"Wait for it…" the red head echoes.
"Ah…" Artemis breathes in anticipation.
"Almost there…"
He misses.
"Nothing? Wow really?" He nudges her away lightly. "Nice moves Wall-man." She mocks him rolling her eyes.
"Yea? Like you could do any better." He scoffs.
"Oh you're on." Her eyes challenge him as she places her hands on the hard stick. "Go!"
She positions her hand in the right direction and slowly inches it forward. "Easy…easy…." Wally hums quietly.
"Hang on baby…"
"Oh man!" He hollers with his hands pulling back his hair.
"I've – ah I've –"She croaks out.
"Oh my –" He can't believe his eyes.
"It's in!"
"Go! Now! Do it! Go!" He shouts.
"Ah!"
The siren goes off screaming out with flashing lights. Then a mechanical voice announces in a booming tone, "Winner! Winner! Winner!"
"You did it!" Wally moves in to embrace the grinning blonde. Together they share a warm loving laugh. And then they turn back to the glass screen as they watch the claw grasp ahold of the stuffed prize that a waits for them. It picks up a white puppy with a tiny pink tongue sticking out. The claw drops their prize over to the side where they spot a tiny exit flap. He reaches for it first.
"Well I honestly was hoping to get it in maybe by the third try." He grins weakly.
Artemis laughs lightly placing her hands with his, "You know you just wasted like five bucks in quarters. That's like what – at least three hot dogs?"
"Don't remind me."
Next thing he knows she's stepping towards him as she places a gentle kiss next to his slow burning red cheeks. Then she pulls away with a bright smile and the stuffed puppy in her hands.
"Yea, well you're not the one who won it."
"I would have won it…eventually…."
"Yea right," she chuckles lightly.
He then takes her hand and closes it around his walking with her side by side. "So…do you still want it?"
She shakes her head, "You keep it. Think of it as my gift to you."
"Which I was going to win for you." He explains.
"Right, maybe next time."
"So? Is that a yes to another date?"
Artemis walks ahead a few feet away from him and then turns back, "What do you think?"
Wally tries his hardest not to use his super speed, sighting a few people nearby. When he finally catches up to her he grabs her hips and slowly leans into her stealing another kiss.
She smiles and says, "Yes."
