Prolog: Demons

Ah, yes...the Demons of the Red Mark. My greatest adversaries...and later on in the war, one of my most unlikely allies.

You see them occasionally, you know? Warrior's on the battlefield, standing out among the rest, surpassing expectations...you cannot help but to astounded by their actions...it is truly astonishing.

He was a Raktanian Commander known as 'The Red Marked Slayer'. He is the first of many leads on my Journey.

Seven years ago, there was a war then engulfed the whole galaxy: The Galactic War.

After the end of World War III, humanity, in an effort to push past our restraints of our home, began a new era of expansion, by turning away from the problems of earth, and looked to the stars a a whole.

Many years later, humanity had begun expanding into space, with colonies around their homeworld, and on the moon. For years, humanity all had one single goal: to grow and expand past earth.

Then, in the year 2040, we landed on Mars at long last, and we discovered the unthinkable. That we were not alone in the universe.

On Mars were the ruins of a once powerful, yet peaceful alien Civilization. One that was thrown down to extinction by an alien race called the Raktanian's, which happened over 50,000 years ago. From these Ruins, Humanity created Faster than light travel (FTL), and began to further expand through space.

As they expanded, they soon came into contact with other lifeforms. The Exodi, the Rykillian's, the Vagardan's, and numerous others.

But then, on the year 2125, the Raktanian Empire returned.

They swarmed into our galaxy like a great plauge, destroying anyone or anything in their way. Intent on conquering our galaxy once and for all.

But what they didn't intend on, was resistance.

Humanity and it's allies banded together to fight these invaders, beginning what would be called the Galactic War.

This could be found in any History book, but I had discovered something in my readings. There are numerous stories and references to a group of 'special' soldiers called Samurai Knights, and how they played a critical part in the war. As I continued reading, I couldn't help myself but think...could these Samurai know what really happened in the War? The secrets that no one but themselves may know?

I was instantly hooked, and read up whatever I could about them. All of them pointing at a single battle in the war...the Battle of Sparta II.

I had no doubt, that we would be engraved in history...
