A/N: This came to me while I was watching it snow out my window, and I thought, "Wouldn't it be funny if Cas got his tongue stuck on a pole?" So here it is! Please review! :3
Castiel stood on the edge of the street as he waited for the bus. Snow fell generously from the sky, blanketing the ground in a white carpet. He shivered in his clothes and jacket, the cold biting his senses. Being a human now, he was no longer immune to the temperature. Children were running around, throwing balls of the snow at each other. He smiled, glad that at least someone was having fun on this wintry day. The pole next to him shook like a tree in a hurricane, looking like it could topple over at any second. He studied the pole with interest as a memory came to the surface. A few years ago, Dean had taken Castiel to a movie, because he "needed to have some fun." In the movie, it was snowing much like it was now, and a child was standing next to a streetlight with his friends. They started to dare him to stick his tongue on the pole. So he did, and he couldn't get it off. Coming back to reality, Cas looked at the pole next to him. He believed that the people who made the film were exaggerating.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it." he said to himself. He stepped a bit closer to the pole. Castiel very slowly stuck his tongue out and placed it on the cold iron pole. It didn't feel like it was sticking, but when he tried to pull his tongue away it was in vain. He pulled and pulled and pulled until his mouth started to hurt. He was pretty much stuck. Suddenly, Cas had an idea. He pulled his blue cell phone out of his coat pocket and dialed Dean's number. It rang four times before he answered.
"Hello?"
"Dean? This ith Cathtiel. I hath my tougue thtuck on a pole."
"You have your tongue... stuck on a pole?"
Castiel could hear his friend laughing hysterically in the background. It was about three minutes before he calmed down.
"Oh God, that's so freakin' funny. Where are you anyway?"
"I'm in Labanon, Kanthis (he said Kansas, by the way) about 10 minuthes from the bunker." Cas replied. People were beginning to stare.
"Well, I'll be there in a few, so hang on tight!"

Dean was there in 10 minutes, as he said he would. He had brought a cup of hot water to pour on the pole.
"Now you know how we feel, buddy." Dean remarked as he poured the water on Castiel's tongue and the pole.
"Ah. Ah. Ah." Castiel said, those sounds the only ones he could make as the water scorched his tongue. Finally, he was able to yank his tongue off the pole.
"Thanks." Cas said to Dean, rubbing his sore tongue with his hands. Dean's face was screwed up, trying not to laugh at his friend's misfortune.
"Hey," he clapped him on the back. "That's what friends are for."
