Hermione stared at the vile. The potion inside was clear, but instead of seeing through it, it mirrored. Hermione stared at it a moment longer before taking a sip. As soon as it touched her lips she fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
Ron walked into Gryffindor common room and saw Hermione unconscious on the floor. He quickly picked her up and carried her to the hospital wing. "Oh, dear, what happened?" Madam Pomfrey asked when he walked in. "I don't know, I found her like this." Ron answered. Madam Pomfrey took the vile of potion out of her hand and examined it. "Ah ha." She said. "Someone gave her a sleeping beauty potion." "Can you wake her up then?" Ron asked. "The only way to is for her true love to kiss her; and by true love I mean the one she's destined to be with." She told him. Ron walked to stand next to her and bent down to kiss her, but nothing happened. He kissed again, but still nothing happened. "Stop kissing her, Mister Weasley, if it didn't work the first time it wont work." Madam Pomfrey said. Draco Malfoy had been eaves dropping and suddenly appeared beside Ron. "Out of the way, a kiss from Draco will wake any girl." He said. "No way, Malfoy, she hates you." Draco scoffed. "Watch and learn, Weasley." He smirked before bending down to kiss her. As soon as he brought his head up Hermione sat up. "Did you make me, Ron?" Hermione asked. Ron shook his head. "Then who did?" She asked. Ron stepped aside to reveal Draco. "You did?" Hermione didn't believe it. He nodded. "I knew it." She said. "What?" Both boys asked. "Well, I gave myself the sleeping beauty potion to see if I really did belong with you, Ron, because I kind of have been thinking about Draco lately. I thought it might be a sign that I belonged with him. I knew I would get around to his kiss eventually." She said. "That's weird," Draco said, "I have been thinking about you, too. I thought I was going crazy." He confessed. "What did you think about the kiss?" Hermione asked. "I wish it could have lasted longer." He said with an evil smirk. Hermione grinned back grinned back. Ron walked disgustedly away as they kissed.
