Post-Revival Oneshot. Spoilers. Rogan. I haven't written in probably 10 years, but after the revival, I just had to have some closure on how I think things should have gone.

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm pregnant"

"Oh Rory, sweetheart. Are you going to tell him?"

"I don't know."

"I think you should. Logan is not Christopher."

Later that night Rory was lying awake in her bedroom. How did her life turn out like this? Should she tell him? What about his finacée? She knew she did this to herself with the Vegas agreement. She never could just come out and ask him. Not after she turned down the proposal. That turned out to be the biggest mistake she ever made. But this was going to change everything. There was no doubt in her mind that she would keep and love this baby. But would he? Or was she destined to repeat her mother's life? Was it fair of her not to tell him? Or fair to tell him? The tears started to fall down her face.

He felt the wheels touch down on the tarmac. Screw the dynastic plan.

Around 3am her phone was ringing. Half-asleep, she answered without looking at the caller id.

"Rory," the familiar voice said into her ear.

"Logan? It's 3am? What's wrong?"

"I know. I'm sorry. But everything. Everything is wrong. I have something I have to tell you."

"I have something to tell you too Logan," she had to. It was now. "I'm pregnant, with our baby."

Silence. For just the briefest second, but to her it felt like an eternity.

"Go to the porch."

"What? Why? It's cold."

"Some fresh air will do you good."

"You're not going to say anything?" she implored, while heading towards the front door.

As she opened the front door, there he was, in all his shining beauty, standing at the foot of the steps, at 3am. Hair mussed from a long flight, but the man she loved was standing in front of her. Her heart constricted.

"Hey Ace," he said with a grin.

She walked slowly down the stairs and into his arms.

"You're not going to say anything?"

"I ended it with Odette. I couldn't be with her, going through the motions of the grand plan, all to please my family, when all I ever thought about was you. My life is nothing I want it to be without you in it. It's you Rory. It's always been you. You taught me years ago that the dynastic plan isn't all it's cracked up to be. I thought I would never escape that fate, but then I met you, and you changed everything. And now, you're the mother of my child, and I couldn't be happier."

The tears were streaming down her face again.

"I'm going to try this one more time," he said, dropping to one knee. He pulled out a familiar box.

"Rory Gilmore, I love you, simple as that, and I'll love our son or daughter. Will you finally marry me?"

"You jump, I jump, Jack"

"Is that a yes?"

"Yes!" and he slipped the ring on her finger. Her ring.
