She was so used to flowers and candies, but nothing as peculiar as Riku, he had handed her a black sharpie. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, just a normal boring black sharpie, sometimes Kairi would color in Naminé's hair with different colors. However, the sharpie was boring black, it felt very heavy in her hand for some reason. She couldn't place it. Riku smirked at her, obviously pleased by her confusion, he took off his shirt and it suddenly made sense to Kairi. Written in black sharpie much like the one Kairi was holding, read : "Will you go out with me?" There was a check box for yes, no and maybe. Kairi giggled, Riku certainly knew the way to flatter a girl. She could feel people stare at her, more so at him, who wouldn't? He was after all the closest thing to perfection, and his good looks didn't hurt. She carefully removed the cap from the sharpie, checking the box right on his belly button feeling her face flush. Everyone was watching her carefully, more so then usual, she took a deep breathe and stood up.
"Why can't you be normal," she said breathlessly, when did her heart start beating so fast?
Riku grinned, taking her hand in his, kissing the tips of her fingers. "It's no fun."
