As if to complement the soft morning, a fluffy yellow bird suddenly bursts into song:
Shining like the morning dew, the Namimori School
Ordinary and usual, Nami is best

Hibird lands on an outstretched finger and receives his reward. The bird munches happily while Tsuna breaks the last of Hibird's favorite biscuit into bite-sized pieces.
"Hibari-san, will you sing too?"
"No."
"Ehhh, why not? You like that song, don't you?"
Fingers flicking to turn the next page of the day's news was Tsuna's only answer.
"Come on, they didn't mean it. Gokudera-kun and Mukuro were only drunk when they said you sounded like a mooing cow during karaoke."
"I-I mean they were only teasing you, teasing you," Tsuna raised placating hands and laughed weakly when he saw the other's conspicuous dark aura.
"Hmph."
"I...really like Hibari-san's voice."
Hibari slightly lowered his reader.
The sun was gentle on the balcony and the small breakfast table. Tsuna lightly stroked fluffy yellow feathers and continued, "Shouichi-kun said that next week might be the best time to start the plan."
Tsuna raised his eyes to see Hibari looking steadily at him.
"Your voice is a lullaby. A spell promising you'll be there when I wake. So it's okay. I have faith in our younger selves." Tsuna smiled.
"Hibari, Hibari!" Hibird flew to the other.
"See, even Hibird thinks so too."
"Okay." Hibari coughed lightly, looked to one side and began slowly,

→ The line 'I have faith in our younger selves': I'm fairly sure that it's canon, but I can't remember exactly where Tsuna said it. I know it's in the TYL arc, but the volume and chapter or episode (^^;) ? So I'd be grateful if anyone could provide that info.
Though I have several versions of this I thought to let others see the very first one. A bit different, right? ;)
