A/N: My version of the scene where the younger version of Yuki goes into town alone to wait for Kaname. Obviously I don't own Vampire Knight or this would be canon.
Small Thing (Yuki): *runs through the streets looking for Kaname*
Vampire: *steps in front of Small Thing*
Kaname: *appears behind Small Thing*
Vampire: *is about to attack Small Thing but stops and bows to Kaname*
Small Thing: Wow, am I like the queen of vampires or something?! I'm so confused; why did you bow to me!?
Kaname: Actually, I'm the king of vampires and this vampire was bowing to me. You just happened to be in the way.
Small Thing: Gosh dang it, Kaname! Why do you always have to steal my glory!
Kaname: I give you all the glory later in the anime. Now, stop yelling at me and let's go!
*Kaname and Small Thing exit*
