Pride and Vanity, twins, are the Gamemakers for the 69th annual Hunger Games. The twins are appraised as geniuses, their past work with predecessors being of the best of their kind. This story follows a multitude of tributes who are led to their untimely deaths in a brilliant and dangerous arena, set up by sadistic Gamemakers born from the Capitol.

Pride and Vanity, the Gamemakers of the 69th annual Hunger Games, are twins with a knack for sadomasochism and painful deaths.

Their assistant Gamemaker, Seneca Crane, gets a chance of a lifetime to alter the lives of everyone in the Capitol by trying to make these Games the most interesting they've ever witnessed.
