Mystery -
I was pacing my room; the next King Of Iron Fist tournament was going to be held soon. I knew I was going to enter, I had to. I couldn't miss an opportunity like this to be close to Jin Kazama.
"What do you think I should do, Panda?" I asked my ever loving pet and bodyguard.
She shrugged her shoulders and made a noise of confusion.
I clutched my fist to my chest. "I'm gonna do it, Panda. I must see him again." I shook my head, trying to quell my enthusiasm and the bubbling in my stomach that I got whenever I thought of Jin. People get butterflies in their stomachs? Mine is more like an ever active volcano bubbling over and over, covering my inside with lava.
I grabbed my bag from the floor and began to run towards my bedroom door. I knew that I would be late for school if I did not hurry.
* * * *
I was running home from school, giggling and smiling, feeling genuinely ecstatic and over the moon. I was in mid run when I tripped over something that was laid on the floor.
"Owwie!" I yelped, turning around to see that the heap that I had tripped upon was none other than Jin.
"Ai-ya!" I screamed, crawling to his side.
His forehead was covered in beads of sweat, almost like he had fever or something. He was unconscious; he didn't even come round when I poked him. Twice.
'He looks so sweet when he's sleeping.' I thought subconsciously, slowly stroking his hair, pulling his fringe off of his forehead where it was stuck.
Jin groaned and began to roll over slightly, his eyes fluttering open and then closed again.
"Jin?! Jin, you okay?" I asked, shaking his shoulders when I got no response.
He groaned again, opened his eyes fully and sat up. He gazed around him, his eyes glazed over. "Wha-"
"How're you feeling, Jin? Do you need some water? What happened? Will you be ok?" I asked in a rapid motion, cutting him off from whatever he was about to say, which would probably have been something along the lines of the ones that I had reeled at him.
He turned to face me, blinking his eyes furiously to clear the haze. "Xiaoyu?" He asked.
I nodded. 'Has he forgotten me' I thought, panic creating an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach.
"What happened?" He asked.
I shrugged my shoulders, keeping my eyes fixed on his. "I dunno. I just – fell over you. You were laid on the floor unconscious."
Jin tilted his head to the side. "Oh. Ok." He then shrugged his shoulders, collected his bag and walked away.
I was left, crouched on the floor, my head in a swirl of confusion. What had really happened to Jin? Why had he been laid on the floor anyway?
I picked up my bag from where I had dropped it to attend to Jin and began to skip away. He had said my name. Jinhad said myname.
I was just thinking to myself the other day that I really needed to write a Tekken fanfic. I love the series and have been playing the games for years. I hope that you enjoyed it. Please Review.
