Conflict and Confusion
She realized now what her pride had gotten her into. She had thought she could take this youma on alone and hadn't contacted any of the other senshi. Now Sailor Uranus kicked herself for her stubborn pride as she knew she could not win by herself. She dodged another blast sent her way by the youma, almost falling on her face as she steadied herself, her sword appearing in her hand. She knew that Sailor Moon and the other senshi would arrive at some time so until then, she had to buy herself time and keep the youma busy.
Uranus blocked the youma's next attack but as she looked up again, she saw a ball of energy leave the youma's hand. She tried to bring the sword up to block it but she was too slow. She hit the ground hard, the pain making it impossible for her to move.
"Star Serious Laser!" she tried to focus her eyes, seeing three blurry but somewhat familiar figures appear. Then everything went black.
"That was a nasty monster," Yaten commented after he untransformed, glancing at the pile of dust that had once been the youma. Seiya and Taiki had already done so and knelt by Sailor Uranus's side.
"She's pretty badly hurt," Taiki said, looking concerned.
"So what? After all the stuff she's done to us, why should we care?" Yaten shrugged, turning away.
"Shut up, Yaten. We just can't leave her here," Seiya said, picking her up.
"Yes, we can. First, we don't know where she lives. Second, I don't feel like running around Tokyo in the middle of night to find out and third..."Yaten paused, looking at Seiya. "Oh, no, no..Your not thinking of having her stay with us?" he groaned. "Great, just great...."he muttered, following the other two.
Sailor Uranus woke with sunlight in her face. She opened her eyes, blinking at the bright light that streamed through the window. Her head pounded and she noticed the scapes along her arms and legs that left red on the bed sheets.
She looked around at the unfamiliar room, uneasy. She had no idea who had brought her here but if they were an enemy, she would already be dead. But she still remained transformed even though her sailor fuku was stained red with blood and was torn in several places. Suddenly the door opened and before she could do anything, Seiya Kou, otherwise known as Sailor Star Fighter, walked in.
"Oh, you're awake," he said, looking a little uncomfortable.
"You! Where am I?" she demanded, sitting up, wincing at the pain in her head.
"Relax. We brought you here since we had no idea where you lived and didn't want to leave you since you were pretty badly injured," Seiya said as he sat on the bed next to her on the bed. "You might might want to untransform. If you're hungry, I can bring something up here. Taiki said you should stay and rest for now," he said, taking a tissue and softly wiping a thin line of blood that ran from a cut on her cheek before she could protest.
"I can take care of myself and I feel just fine," she said coldly, getting up. A sudden wave of pain made her stagger as soon as she tried to get up and Seiya caught her as she passed out.
He carefully laid her down on the bed and covered her up with a couple of his warmer quilts.
"Still out?" Yaten leaned against the doorway, Taiki stood just behind him.
"Well, we should wake her soon- it looked like she had a concussion," Taiki suggested.
"-And she can't stay here. I don't want Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune after us," Yaten added.
"They don't know she is with us, Yaten and Taiki, she needs to rest," Seiya snapped at them. They both looked at him, wide-eyed, in silence for a moment, not believing what they had just heard him say. Seiya had always disliked the outer senshi, especially Haruka. Why now he was suddenly so concerned for her welfare confused them.
