Arashi: I did crossovers for Beauty and the Beast but never written just purely Beauty and the Beast so this is my true take in this fandom. This is a bit of my idea how Belle would have acted once her father is dragged away which makes this oneshot au.
Disclaimer: Beauty and the Beast and its characters belong to Disney.
Summary: Taken her father's place as the castle prisoner she finally cries and let's lose of all the things she gone through in her life including the rumors around the town. In her ranting she doesn't see the Beast hearing her words making him change his mind about her staying in the Dungeon.
Castle's Prisoner
Fallen on her knees, a beautiful woman with brunette color hair and brown eyes let the tears roll down her cheeks. Her hands tighten into fists as the memories of her beloved papa drag out of the dungeon by the stranger call Beast. Anger and resentment mix with the relief and sadness finally able to see her papa fine even if he is more concern about him.
"Its not like things can get worse," The young woman whispers shoulders shaking. Memories of the words whispered behind her back.
"Strange girl."
"How could she just read and not see Gaston?"
"Who's worse the girl or her crazy coot of a father?"
"My father isn't crazy," the woman snaps at the voices in her head. "It's not my fault I prefer books to people who taunts me for being different. I have dreams of adventures and finding the one I can love. Not being pretty and stupid like most girls in the town."
Belle didn't realize she's no longer alone as Beast comes back to check on her to hear her words making him think carefully. He looks at the candle looking at him with a look which he didn't bother to decipher as to help the girl. Just hearing she loves to read makes her rather unique but he pushes it off.
He clears his throat getting the woman to whirl around obvious hints of tears stains on her cheeks which she tries to wipe away. He gazes to one side telling her curtly, "Follow me."
"I won't be staying here?" She asks slowly standing up glancing briefly at the beast.
"If that's what you wish," He growls making her shake her head gladly following him out of the cold dungeons to the warmer castle even if she's the castle's prisoner she might as well make the best of her stay since its for making sure her father is safe that's all what really matters to her now.
Arashi: I know it's on the short end but I couldn't be more satisfied with it. Please read and review.
