Just a little poem i was writing when thinking about how vamps view time... putting this as crossover as i can see either Edward or Spike writing this :)

Just do it

Time passes,

Measured, quantified,

Only by the construct of human understanding.

Time passes,

Unimpeded, unaltered,

Paradoxically constraining those who seek to tame it.

A moment in time,

Millisecond or Millennium,

Both sufficient for an event to occur.

A moment in time,

A childhood, a lifespan,

The value realized or squandered in ignorance.

The significance of time,

Changing, varying,

Shaped by our situation or circumstance.

The significance of time,

Racing or dying,

Seconds, minutes, days now so crucial.

Attitudes to time:

Tomorrow

Later

Soon

Now…

Just do it.
