I don't own Glee.
This story is narrated by Mr. Schuester. Enjoy!
"Eyes on your own paper," I reminded Finn as I watched the room for cheaters. It wasn't long before I heard my name. I glanced over at Brittany, who was impatiently waving her hand in the air.
"I'm confused!"
I stood from my desk and walked to where she was seated. "What do you need help with?" I skimmed the paper.
Brittany hadn't answered a single question on the quiz; and she even left her name off the paper.
"How do I do this?" the innocent girl pointed to the name space.
"Write your name on the line," I told her.
"Thanks. That's all I needed."
"You sure?"
She gave me a nod, saying, "If I'm confused again, I'll just ask."
I gave Brittany a pat on the shoulder, then returned to my desk.
Many students had soon come to my desk, throwing papers around in random spots, even though I instructed them to make a neat pile in the assignment basket. Sometimes, being a teacher can be stressful, especially when a kid whines at you for listing assignments as missing because they weren't responsible for their own papers.
Once the students took their seats, I went to check on Brittany.
She murmured to herself, finishing the quiz. She held the paper up.
"You done?" I grabbed the paper.
"Yes," she said, before pulling out a piece of drawing paper.
I praised her for the hard work, and took the quiz to my desk.
I sighed, stacking the papers to look through them. Some were A's, most were C's, many were D's, and few were B's. I couldn't explain how happy I was with my students. Sacrasm couldn't even cut it.
I eventually ran into a sort of strange paper, and by the looks of it, I was pretty sure it was Brittany's.
Well, at least I know she's good at following instructions, because she followed mine pretty well...
