A start of a love story, a Tagalog love story.
"Mama, para sa tabi," sabi ni Temari sa drayber ng jeepney.
"Mom, for the side," said Temari to the driver of the jeep.
Tinabi naman ang jeepney sa kalsada bago tumingin ang drayber sa kanyang likod. "Ale, di pa po kayo bayad," sabi ng drayber, na nakatirik ang buhok sa pagkakatali.
The jeep went side to side with the road before the driver looked at his back. "Old woman, you're not yet paid for," told the driver, whose hair stopped by its knot.
"Bayad na ko!"
"I'm paid for!"
"Mayron lang akong tatlong daan at trentay-sinko dito. Kung kasama kayo sa mga nagpamasahe, dapat ang kita ko tatlong daan at singkwenta."
"I only have three way and thirty-five here. If you are included in the massage, I should see three way and fifty."
"Bata pa ko at di makakalimutin! Ibang pasahero ang di pa nagbayad sa inyo!"
"I'm a youngster and I'm not unforgettable. It was another passenger who did not pay you!"
"Sa tingin ko mas matanda ka sa akin."
"I see you're too old for me."
"Gago ka."
"You jerk!"
"Ale, nakakaperwisyo ka na."
"Old woman, you're troublesome."
