Summary: What if the ring ceremony wasn't the first meeting.

Adam was walking down the street. He was upset at himself for what Mason was up to. He turned at couple of corners and found out that he had got lost. He decide to down the dark, dirty street. He was half way down when he heard a noise inside one of the dark green garbage cans.
"Hello." He called out. A kid popped his head out of the garbage can.
"Hi." The kid said back. The kid was 8 or 9 years old and had dark brown hair and brown eyes.
"What are you doing in there?" Adam asked him.
"Getting something to eat. Why?" the kid replied. Adam realized that the kid was probably homeless.
"Do you know a way out of here?" Adam asked.
"Ya." The kid replied." Adam smiled.
"Tell you what. How about you show me out of here and I'll buy you lunch?" Adam asked nicely. The kid got a big smile on his face. Then the kid got out of the garbage can and walked over to Adam.
"What's your name?" Adam asked.
"What's yours?" The kid asked back.
"Adam." He replied.
"Well Adam, we have to go down there." The kid said. Adam took the kid's hand and let him lead the way.
"By the way," the kid said, "My name is Brennan."
*Alright, i'll contuine it. But the next chapter will be up this weekend or monday.*
