Since Lola Scamander and Alice Longbottom became friends at the end of their first year, they had been close.
Maybe that's why Alice was so upset.
"You said you would!" Alice shrieked, "You promised! And you weren't there!"
"I'm sorry!" Lola moaned, tears swimming around her eyes.
"After all that time I spent trying to schedule you in, you're just SORRY?" Alice screamed.
"I am!" squeaked Lola. Alice shook her head in disbelief.
"Just sorry. You're amazing, Lola." Alice said, walking away and leaving Lola crushed.
"I am sorry! Please, Alice! I couldn't help I got a detention!" Lola squeaked, running after Alice.
"Fine. Do you promise not to do it again?" Alice asked firmly.
"Promise," Lola nodded. The girls shook hands with a smile.
