Authors Note: Hi everyone, this is my first story on this account, I've had other accounts with other stories but they didn't exactly work out.
So, I'm starting fresh.

Hey Lil, I miss you x
Lily sighed, and bit her lip.
She tapped out a reply on her muggle phone to Liv, her old best friend, but deleted it.
Replying would lead to meeting up with Liv, and meeting up with Liv would make her hate the wizarding world even more.
With the war getting bigger each day, her and her family were threatened more each day, what with Lily being the only witch in a family of muggles.
Not to mention being the brightest witch of her age- it was probably already decided down in Voldemort's current... wherever he was, that Lily was a target.
She blinked a few times, as she registered footsteps coming down the hall- not her dads shuffling, but Petunia's delicate steps.
Her heart leapt, her and Petunia had spoken a few times that summer, and Lily couldn't help but feel excited as Petunia walked to her room.
The footsteps got to her door, Lily stood up.
The footsteps carried on past the door.
Lily sat down, heart sinking- Petunia had moved into the room next door, it had bigger space and was further away from the main road at the front of the house.
If Lily wasn't in the wizarding world, she'd be getting Petunia's room, she'd always wanted it, not too small but not too big. Perfect.
All the more reason to move schools.. Lily thought, biting her lip.
She weighed up the options in her head.
If she left, her family would be safer, she could strike up a bond with Petunia again, meet up with her old friends, have Petunia's room.
She could spend time with her dad.
Lily's mum had died in the middle of her third year, and, coming into seventh year, she still wished she had spent more time with her.
If she went back to Hogwarts?
She could see Marlene, Hestia, Mary and Remus.
She would be pestered by Remus.
She would be targeted even more.
Lily stood up, grabbed her phone, typed out a quick reply to Liv, grabbed her leather jacket and walked out her room.
She'd made her decision.
