Summary: In some distant future, the Winchester brothers have become the stuff of legend. A little antidote to my other drabble this week!
The real break-through in solving the Winchester mystery came with the discovery of the lock-up in Chicago. The archaeologists tried to keep it quiet, but these things always leak out, one way or another, and the press were swarming outside the narrow back alley before you could say "Thank Cas!"
"Is it true you've found Dean's colt 1911?"
"… books from Sam's lost library…"
"…Bobby Singer's caps?"
"…John Winchester's journal?"
"…Castiel's trenchcoat?"
The paparazzi were so focussed on their target, not one of them saw the two men, one tall, the other taller, stroll away with smiles on their faces.
