As most of you know, I'm sick and doped up on cold meds, hence the loopiness that created this fic. Also, my mom bought me Tagalongs to try and make me feel better. Sure, they're yum, but I had my heart set on Thin Mints.
Anyway, to the disclaimer! I don't own Girl Scouts, the cookies (except for the one box in my fridge) or Maximum Ride or Fang. Done.
I clenched my fists, feeling the stress get to me. Like so many other times, I had to make a snap decision. I felt trapped in a corner, but having Fang at my side gave me the only little comfort that I had. "Are you sure about this, Max?" He asked waveringly. "What choice so I have Fang? I really don't see any other options." I snapped back. "Max, you can always say no. No one would be mad at you for that." He said soothingly. "Are you really that heartless, Fang? Those kids will hate me if I pass up an opportunity like this. So will you. " I answered. I saw Fang's jaw clench as he accepted my resolve. "There's nothing I can do to change your mind?" Fang asked, stepping closer and cupping my face. I looked down guiltily, shaking my head no. "Max, look at me. You know what I want." He whispered deeply. I nodded. "The only thing I can do is support your decision then." He whispered quietly, kissing me lightly on the lips. I looked up at him. "I'm going to do what I have to, Fang. I hope you can understand that." He nodded somberly and stepped out of my way.
"5 boxes of Thin Mints, 3 boxes, of Samoas, 2 Tagalongs, and a Trefoil, please." I said, stepping up to the table and handing the little blonde girl the cash I had in my pockets. "Okay!" She smiled brightly, throwing smaller boxes into a larger box for my convenience.
"I hope you're happy." I said, handing him the Tagalongs.
