Seeing Colors

After his mother died, Keith's father took full custody of him, but his way of parenting is very different; abusive, if you will. Since moving to a new town thanks to an incident Keith got into, Keith finds himself starting anew with new people (making friends is hard if you've never had one before). Then, when a boy with brown hair & blue eyes came along, things changed for Keith.

**Notes before reading**

This story is written for Keith and Shiro to share the same mother, unlike the actual show. I had this idea before season 2 came out, and instead of changing it, i just kept it. I feel like it feels better this way to me and idk why. But anyways... plus, I do have it written such that Keith's father is abusive. So, TRIGGER WARNING/CAUTION: there is implied abusive content. Most of it is emotional, but there is also going to be some physical. Just to let everyone know. as i have written this, i do not plan on writing any scene that has any physical abusiveness content in it. i dont know about emotional, though. But i want to keep these scenes to a minimum, unless i feel otherwise for the story plot. If any of this changes i will put a disclaimer in different areas to warn anybody before they read it.
