A/N: This is a new several chapter version of my one-shot, "Alone". But someone (cough::InfinityBlade::cough) didn't like it, so I decided to extend it into this.

The Chosen Children were walking through the forest. Kouji was still gone. Izumi was… um… 'freshening up'. Junpei was looking at a berry bush, and decided to eat one of the berries. "Mmmm…"

"No! Don't eat that! It's bad for you!" Bokomon screamed. He then looked in his book.

"Why?" Junpei asked.

"Because it's poisonous! Just eating one could make you very sick!" Bokomon explained, while reading from the book.

"Gah!" Junpei yelled, as he threw the berry down on the ground. "That was close!"

Tomoki walked up to the bush. "What would happen if you ate more than one?"

Bokomon turned pale as he read on.

"Death." Everyone was silent for a few minutes. Takuya broke the silence. "Hey guys, lighten up! No one got hurt, right? Let's just relax!"

They all thought about it, and shrugged it off. They started walking again, when Izumi finally came back. "Izumi! Are you coming, or what?!" Takuya asked. Izumi ran after the group, and called out to him.

"Yeah, just wait!" She yelled as she ran after the others.

A few hours later, everyone was asleep except Izumi. She got up, and ran through the forest. Takuya, who had been suspicious about Izumi's behavior lately, had faked sleep, and decided to follow her. They ran until Izumi got to the berry bush. Takuya hid behind another bush, and spied on her. "Mmm… these look good…" Izumi said as she popped a few berries in her mouth.

"Nooo!" Takuya screamed as he stopped Izumi from eating more, and smacked them out of her hand. "What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Takuya yelled.

"What do you think you are doing?" Izumi retaliated. "You shouldn't spy on a lady, it's informal!"

"Aw, don't give me that "informal" crap again!"

"Why not? You should get some manners!"

"I should be the one with manners? Look who's talking, Ms. 'Slap-a-guy-for-being-informal-when-she's-the-one-who-hugged-him'!!"

"Well… well…"

"Ah, ha! Can't say anything, can you?"

"Shut-up, you!"

"Now who's being informal?"

"Argh! I hate you! Leave me alone!"

"Why, so you can try to kill yourself again?"

"What are you talking about?!"

"The berries are poisonous!"

Izumi became wide eyed. She then fainted.

"I…I… Izumi!" Takuya carried her back to the camp. "Guys! Izumi ate the berries!"

"Shimatta! Set her down!" yelled Neemon. Junpei set up a soft spot for Izumi to lay on, and set her on the sheets as Tomoki started crying. "Izumi-chan…", whispered Junpei, as he looked at her unconscious form. "No…" Takuya also looked on. 'Geez Izumi, don't die on me!' Takuya thought to him self.
