Six
As Fang flew through the forest to the School, he already knew what he was going to do. He would run in there, grab Max, kick some serious butt and they would go home. If they wouldn't let her go then he would offer himself up for a trade.
30 minutes later
As Fang crept through the air vents, he couldn't help thinking of the time Max had been replaced with Max II. She had led through air ducts and they had secretly gotten into a room and this was exactly the same. He stopped and listened hard, " Take the mutants cage out to the field where the Erasers are. We have no use for it now" said a voice. Fang unlatched a vent and dropped down into a room. He ran through the room and followed the direction the voice had came from. There was a door in the wall next to him and through the window Fang could see Erasers outside. He slipped in the door and hid behind a bush. Suddenly, the door opened and an assistant came out. " You may do what you have to. We have no need for the mutant now. You know why.". The door opened again and closed. Now was the time! Fang sprung out form the bush, jumped in the air and flung out his wings. Only to find Max wasn't in the cage. He barley had time to think WTH! before something grabbed his ankle and pulled him down. Not all the way to the floor but low enough for the capturer to attempt to throw a hood over his head. Fang ducked and whirled, causing the tight hold on his ankle to loosen enough for him to pull it free. He shot out a snap kick to an Erasers head but he felt a stinging in his upper arm. Again. And again, just like last time, he couldn't help himself falling into unconsciousness. He managed to stay awake long enough to hear the end of a sentence one of the Erasers was saying, "…guess he didn't know Ari let her escape" Fang had time to be shocked as he heard Ari's name but nothing else. He faded into unconsciousness without a fail this time…
Meanwhile
As I flew through the familiar forest, I sped up a little. I couldn't wait to ee the Flock again. I slowed as I saw bright lights and I came to a stop at the door. " Guys, it's me, I'm back!" I shouted. " Max! Max!" and thus followed a series of hugs and explanations. I was happy right up to when Gazzy said something that made all my happiness disappear and my blood run cold. " Isn't Fang with you?" he said. "No, Fang isn't with me" I replied. " Well, his note said that he had gone to find you" Nudge mumbled. " Why isn't he-wait, if he isn't back yet and he went to go find me, he must have been caught" Angels comment made the room so quiet you could've heard a pin drop. Four heart beats later, my brain started working again. " Ig, your in charge till I get back" Then I spun and jumped out of the door and flew towards the place I had just gotten out of.
When I finally got there I paused for a moment, Voice, where's Fang? I dint expect to answer. It had only done that once. So it shocked me again when it answered,"Go in the west entrance, down the corridor past the Erasers room and into the door that says Holding Area."
Okay then. Off we go. So when I got to the holding area, I was a little surprised to see Fang, be allowed to go in with out setting of alarms. But then that surprise fade when I was grabbed from behind and we were both leaded down a dark corridor an strapped to, yet again, a ton of C4 with a timer attached to it. As the clocked ticked down, me and Fang lent against each other and spent the moments just sitting still. Finally, I said the question that we had both been thinking. " Are we ever gonna see the Flock again?" We just looked at each other as our time ran out…
