"MALFOY, SCORPIUS!!!"
I stepped up to wards the old stool. This is so dumb. Why do we even have to do this? Everybody knows I am going to be a Slytherin. No I don't want to. They all say i will, "Oh Scorpie you'll be the model Slytherin Student." I hate them. But if they didn't say that my Father would kill them. I don't want to be a Slytherin I want to be a Ravenclaw. I am smart enough to be one. I do have a brain.
"Good Luck." a female voice whispers from the crowd below me. She was a short girl with reddish brown hair, she was cute. I feel like a king looking down on my people. I sit down onto the rock hard stool. A dirty brownish blackish hat covers my eyes.
'I CAN'T SEE!!!' I scream in my head. I start hyperventilating, i am afraid of the dark. I know childish. Stupid of me. Me, the great Scorpius malfoy
"Calm down." The voice of the dumb, er WISE ALMIGHTY HAT spoke.
"What no." I thought continueing to hyperventilate, "I'm afraid of the dark ever sence my father-"
"Yes, Yes I see your thoughts now where to put you..." He continued to say in his low monotone-like voice. I had been afraid of the dark ever sence me father.
"Slytherin, no you are allot like Sirius Black a rebellious young boy." ever since he locked me in a closet for a day on accident.
"But Sirius went to Gryffindor, you wouldn't like that."
"Oh Please No!"
"That is what i thought."
"Thought what? I can't hear your thoughts you can only hear mine."
"hufflepuff."
"WHAT" i screamed in my head my ears hurt. Everybody was looking at me now, wondering why I was taking so long.
"Just kidding."
"I didn't know you had a sense of humor."
"No just sarcasm no humor."
"Sarcasm is the lowest form of humor."
"You sound more wise than i do Scorpie."
"Don't call me that." somebody coughed but i couldn't see who.
"Sorry Scorpius dear."
"SHUT UP." This old hat was driving me insane.
"Fine then you must be;" I held my breath.
"RAVENCLAW!!!"
The Great Hall cheered as i ran to take my spot amongst the other Ravenclaws.
