"You're not going to do anything if you hit someone with the side of your hand, Larry."
"Well, technically that WOULD be doing something, Charles."
"Okay, yes, it would be doing something. But it wouldn't do any damage."
"I don't know, wouldn't it depend on where the hit impacted?"
"Okay, fine, you might cause them a slight twinge of pain. We're going for a little more than a twinge though, Larry."
