Another Day, Another Dollar
"Hey! get your ass back here!" A girl with Azure colored hair ran as quick as she could, in hot pursuit of four bandits "Stupid bandits!" she ran faster, smirking "Wind slicer!"
A green tornado sped towards the four; knocking them into the air "Now Mari!" she shouted towards the air, suddenly, a girl appeared out of nowhere, raising her hands into the sky "Light fall." A group of atleast forty light spears appeared behind her, they shot down towards the group of bandits in the air and hit them, pinning them to the ground,
"Nice mari!" The girl ran over to the bandits and examined them, grabbing an amulet from one of their pockets and shoving it in her own "Please, don't call me that." The girl who apparently was named 'mari', said "Its marionette." she smiled politely, walking away from the bandits, including the girl she was with.
"Hey mari, wheres the rest of the group?" she ran up beside the girl and giggled "At the camp." She simply replied, ignoring the nickname once again.
To the camp~
They finally made it back, tired and worn out from all the walking, they sat down, completely ignoring the looks from the other people with them.
"Hey, you get the amulet? oi! Hina! did you get the amulet?" A boy said, annoyed by the fact that Hina was ignoring him and slowly falling asleep "Y..yeah..yu.." she fell backwards, snoring in her sleep "stupid woman." he walked over to her and grabbed the amulet from her pocket, looking at it "Hmm..Alia, is this the one we're looking for?" Yumazaki said, glancing over at the girl in the hammock "Yeah yeah, course."
she turned her back to the group and yawned, going off to dreamland and ignoring the others "Its obvious to the trained eye, that amulet is just a stupid normal necklace, no magical powers at all." A boy called coyote said, shifting from his uncomfortable position on the ground, he looked over to the boy keeping watch "see? even fame can see it." the boy who was just referred to, looked over at him, shrugging "maybe." They all sighed and went to sleep, dreading the next day.
Next day~
They were all at the guild doors, dreading to see the other team and tell them that what they got, was just a dud "H-Hey, anybody want to go kill some time? I m-mean, we don't have to go in just yet" Alia said, quickly turning and sprinting away "Oh no you don't." Coyote grabbed the girl before she could get away "Doll, you know what to do." Marionette nodded and held her hands up "light fall." she summoned another forty spears of light, aiming it at alia "w-w-wait, s-stop! why m-me?" alia was shaking and trembling, scared out of her wits because of what happened the last time she did light fall and aimed it at her.
"Either you go in first, Alia-chan, or light fall hits you, no mercy." Coyote smirked at how demanding he sounded and at the face alia was making "f-fine." Alia gulped and walked into the guild first, followed by the rest of the pack,
"Anybody h-home? Yerry? Rittie? Ry? Kai? Yu-chan? Jan-Jan? Miki?" she gulped and slowly walked over to a table, edging near it "almost..just a few steps..and I'm safe! come on alia..you can do i-" Her thoughts were interrupted when she was tackled to the ground by a small figure "Alia!" A boy with sharp fangs smiled at the girl, hugging her tight "Did you get the amulet?! huh?!" he grinned ear to ear and got up, dusting himself off and watched her with excitement "w-well..we kind of.." Alia thought of a word to fit the situation, coming up with nothing "Failed?" The girl whose name was apparently 'Jan-Jan' walked up behind the two, smiling knowingly "you did, didn't you?"
Alia walked over to the corner and sat down, sulking "Its not my fault.." she whined and pouted, sniffling in the corner while her teammates patted her on the back, giving her encouragement,
"so, did you get the 'dud'?" Ritsu and Rylen came out from behind the bar, smiling warmly "don't worry, theres a spell here on the paper that turns it into the one you were meant to be searching for." Yerma, Jane and Yuki all sighed in disappointment "You two! they weren't meant to knoooow!" They all sweatdropped and folded their arms in annoyance at the release of the 'secret' information.
"Sorry, but we'd better get that amulet back to its original state and back to its original owner." Ritsu said, smiling warmly at the guild and taking the amulet from Alia "Holy numbers pass, bring its form back and reunite it with its true state, guide it within the barrier of faith, set its sins free." The amulet started glowing as Ritsu said the chant, it flew up into the air and out, expanding to atleast half the buildings size "Woah.." The girl who was named Miki said, showing up with Hina at the entrance of the guild "So big!" Kai said, jumping up and down.
"It very well should be, it belongs to a giant warrior shaman, who lives in Iceriver village." Yumazaki said, jumping up to grab a little bit of the amulet's chain "hmm..How will we carry it to them?" Fame said, walking over to the group "Seems we need somebody who can carry it." Marionette said, looking down at her hands "You think we-" Marionette was cut off by a loud, booming voice in her head, and apparently everyone elses "Attention, Contacting all guilds, You are all being called to Rafiola Kingdom, No matter which guild you are, you are being called to the Kingdom, the following guilds that must attend are:
Fairy Tail
Sabertooth
Mermaid Heel
Blue Pegasus
Lamia Scale
Quattro Cerberus
Omega Pulse
That is all for today, you must attend by tomorrow, so get ready." The speaker in everyones head then cut off, leaving questions in everyones heads "Why the hell should we go!" Coyote said, slamming his fist into the table, nearly breaking it "I mean come on! They never did this before!" He said, obviously pissed off that they called for help, and didn''t even tell them the reason "True, but it must be urgent, why would they call ALL guilds to the kingdom?" Mikihiro piped up, still wondering whether she should attend.
"Look, we're all going, they called, we attend, simple." Ritsu said, serving Yumazaki his daily dango "No way in hell am I attending that crap!" Coyote said, getting worked up for some unknown reason "Just shut up Coyote!" Fame said, getting rather irritated with his futile denying attempts "You'll wake the exceeds." He pointed out, gesturing over to the seven exceeds sleeping on a purple, polka-dotted mat "hmph." he folded his arms and turned his head to the side, moving abit away from the cats "Fine, are we attending that get-together or what?" Hina said, looking rather confused as to why people were fighting "Yes. we are." They all said in unison, except Coyote and Hina.
"Alright, everyone, be here tomorrow at the earliest time you can muster, don't be any later than 5:00 or we'll leave you behind, got it?" Ritsu and Rylen said in unison, smiling at eachother "Okay!" they all shouted, even coyote, which is rarer than finding a diamond in the ocean, Guess they really are a big family.
