It was always Lily, Oliver, and I. We grew up together, ever since that faithful day in preschool that Oliver threw sand at us and we beat his ass. I couldn't imagine life without any of them. When did I know that my life was going to change forever? Not until I was in to deep. This is my story of love, heartbreak, living life, and losing life.

It was May 29th the last day of school. I was so excited to be headed into tenth grade, no more silly little freshman jokes. This summer was my summer, I could feel it I was going to live my life and make the best of it. Or so I thought.

"Miles!" Oliver was waving his hand at me like a madman. Laughing I replied,

"What's going on OLIVEJUICE." He smiled at my stupid pet name I've had for him since third grade.

"Oh nothing, just wanted to see if you wanted to catch some waves with me and Lily tonight. The late night surf is supposed to be amazing!" He motioned as if he were on a surf board, again he had me laughing.

"Please Ollie, you can't even walk let alone surf." He laughed.

"Oh come on, then come down and teach me!" I rolled my eyes knowing I was not going to win this fight.

"Fine I'll meet you at seven." With that we gave each other a hug and walked off.

--AFTER SCHOOL, MILEY'S HOUSE--

"Hey Miles, what are you up to tonight?" My dad always pried into my personal life, he really overprotected me. I shrugged,

"Oh, just going down to the beach and then staying at Lily's." I can't believe he still thinks I stay at Lily's every night. Lily, Oliver, and I have been saying that lie for years now and we set up camp on the beach, there is something really peaceful about the tranquility of nature.

"Alright Bud, have a blast." He waved goodbye and headed off to work. I started to gather my things and head down to the beach when I got a distressing phone call.

"Stewart residence how may I help you?" I felt grown up answering like that.

"I know who you are and I know your family and friends, you step one foot on stage Friday night and they all die. I'm sick of HANNAH MONTANA. I gasped as a buzzing sound came from the receiver, they hung up, but who could it be? I shrugged it off still a little nervous but these are the kind of things you need to deal with as a pop star. I grabbed my things and left.
