My Name is Lord Jacob Dansburry, 23rd Baron of Rhodes. I was born in 1922. More importantly, you may know me as Harry Potter. Some years ago the person you know as JK Rowling completed her investigation of my family and the details surrounding my family and the adventures we had during WWII and the time leading up to it. The story that she published as a result of that investigation is now more commonly known as the Harry Potter series.
While the highlights of her story are true, she has sensationalized many of the details as well as taken many more of them out of context.
My two best friends Lord Carter Miles and Jennifer Miles (nee Lancroft) did indeed get married but he is not the buffoon Ron Weasley is and she, while exceptionally smart is not the know-it-all bookworm that is Hermoine Granger. Jennifer's parents are indeed non-magical (muggle is considered a derogatory term in our world) and Carter is in fact the sixth of seven children, although he is actually the only boy. I did marry his youngest sister Margaret, who is so much more vibrant than Ginny that it requires no comparison. The four of us remain close friends and confidants to this day.
Unfortunately that is about as close to the real story that Ms. Rowling got in her desire to slander my family and I. To give you an idea of how different reality is from the story, you might consider that MS. Rowling cast herself in her own novels. You would know her as Rita Skeeter.
