Hello there fellow readers. Before we get to this story, allow me to clear some things up. First off, some of you are ready for the next installment of Darkness Reborned and Chaos in the Kingdom but yet to see updates, well that's cause I'm swamped with work and have little time to update these stories. Second, my new DA name is gazman3855. My other account got banned so I reappeared for your pleasure. Well enough of these formalities enjoy this special Hunchback of Notre Dame oneshot.

Claude Frollo was raised in the fabulous city of Paris by two of the most beloved citizens. His father was Judge Jacque Frollo, a kind man who's thoughts on justice where quite fair and reasonable. His mother was Madeline Frollo, a nurse at a nearby hospital. Any patient who was tended there always wanted her because of her kindness and love towards the sick and needy. The family was a very religious one and attended any services held in the cathedral of Notre Dame. It was Claude's dream to serve the Catholic Church when he was older.

Claude also had a thing for gypsies. Any free time he could gather would be spent spending time with the traveling gypsies. Their bright colors and wonderful music fascinated Claude. Unfortunately, his love for the gypsies would be sadly short lived. One day, Claude invited a pair of gypsy dancers to his house for dinner. Little to his understanding, the two gypsies were actually thieves and murderers in disguise.

That evening was eerily silent and still. Claude was preparing for the feast when all of the sudden, the two gypsies burst threw the door with knives and swords in their hands. Claude was shocked and horrified and took cover in a nearby closet. Unfortunately, he had to witness the brutal murder of his family. As he watched the grisly scene unfold, one thing overtook his mind, and that was that all gypsies were evil murderers and were never to be trusted.

The next morning, Claude was taken into the church and was raised by the Arch Deacon, a man Claude had admired all his life. He lived and breathed the religious ways and soon took the job his father once had. From that day on he was known as Judge Claude Frollo. But unlike his father, he showed little mercy to the people of Paris, especially the gypsies. Anytime a gypsy would come to court before him, the sentence was always guilty. He even went as far as hunting down the gypsies to seek his revenge for what they did to his family.

However, something happened to him one night. He had got a tip that a group of gypsies were riding a boat and were planning to dock near Notre Dame. He assembled the troops and by the time the gypsies arrived, he was already there. However, one gypsy happened to have "stolen goods" with her and did not want to part with it. She ran and ran from frollo who at the time was chasing her on horseback. She finally stopped at the cathedral doors proclaiming sanctuary, but Frollo arrived soon and killed her. He then later discovered that the goods was actually a disfigured baby boy and after some convincing by the deacon, he raised the child himself.

His life from then on was changed forever……..
