Sakura Kiku was sick of her life. She lived in a house with seven older sisters and a dad who only wanted her to be like her sisters. But she wasn't ever going to be like them. She was just the opposite, in fact. While they loved to make themselves look beautiful and wear dresses and get their hair done, Sakura just wanted to wear boys' clothes and keep her hair cut short. Her dad was not happy about this and kept asking why she couldn't be like her older sisters. This always resulted in Sakura running away through the streets of Athens, crying. She always came back home late, after the sun went down. Her father refused to speak to her at these points. She always went back upstairs to the room which she shared with three of her sisters and cried herself to sleep.
Sakura and her family, minus her mother, who had died when she had given birth to Sakura, had lived in Athens, Greece for about ten years now. They had moved all the way from Tokyo, Japan, where her father had lost his job and was forced to move out of the country. He had chosen to live in Athens, where he was able to easily find a job and support his eight daughters. She had no friends and no boys seemed to want her. Her sisters all had had plenty of boyfriends, but no boy seemed to want Sakura. They deemed her weird and tom-boyish and even one called her a boy and yelled at her that he was not homosexual. After that incident, Sakura didn't even bother to find herself a boyfriend. His comment almost made her consider if she'd be better off as boy. That is why she ran away to a faraway country to have her gender changed. She wanted to go somewhere where no one knew her or she wouldn't get judged. Plus, she knew of no places in Greece that would change her gender. So that's why she traveled across the sea to Turkey. When Sakura had returned, she had changed her name to Honda Kiku. Her family was completely astonished and disappointed in her decision. The royal family soon found out about her sex-change and immediately arrested her entire family, and wouldn't listen to anything her father or her sisters said.

This is a new idea I came up with last night. I have a whole plot already planned out. And I'm sorry for being inactive on my other stories, but I'm experiencing writer's block with all of them. That's the thing I experience: I have writer's block on old stories, but I quickly come up with new stories. It's crazy I know...
